  • 2010 LE Habanos

Not sure if this has been mentioned before... I couldn't find any mention in previous discussions.

Just noticed Trevor (thanks!) has put up the 2010 LE on his website:

    Montecristo Gran Edmundo 52x5.9"
    Partagas Serie D Especial 50x5.5"
    Trinidad Short Robusto T 50x4"

On top of that I noticed there's a R&J Wide Churchill (55x5") planned as regular release... sounds good.

Not too excited about the Behikes, Wide Churchills or the ELs for some reason. However, a couple of the ERs got me interested, including :

La Flor De Cano Short Robusto Petit Robustos 50 102 United Kingdom
Por Larra?aga Encantos Dalias 43 170 Asia Pacific
      Fonseca Fonseca N?4 Hermosos No.4 48 127 Benelux
Sancho Panza Quijote Prominentes 49 194 Spain

Some interesting brands and sizes there. An ER Dalia. Wow, nice

Yeah this was already put up somewhere, but can't find the thread.

Quite interested in all 3 of the ones you mention. Big sizes are in it seems.

I quite like the sound of the Partagas and Trinidad, both sizes I like.

I know this thread isn't concerned with the REs but I'd not looked at the list before and there are some promising sounding cigars in there. I'll definitely be try at least one of the UK PL release!

Looks like only the Por Larra?aga Encantos are in my size range. The rest I might 'collect', but only as singles.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

Wow, great minds ..and all that! That's one that stands out for me too.
Hope it's out before the summer so I can pick em up while there.

Cuban vitola sizes are growing bigger, fatter. No doubt about that.

Look also at the "to be discontinued". Small(er) vitolas are to be withdrawn from production.

In a matter of 5 years, entry level cigar will be robusto if not canonazo.

Undeniably true, and a real shame IMO. Not that I don't like thicker ring gauge cigars, but I love variety and thin vitolas are greatly undervalued at the moment. I would hate to end up in a situation where we're stuck with only a few vitolas to choose from, and all thick ring gauge ones.

Just come back from a trip to Cuba, and saw the Monte's being labled up in the Partagas Factory during a tour, they look lovely. Only wish they were available to purchace at the time..
