Thinking of buying one of these and picking up a few bits from CG's.

    Anyone tried one?

I have had a couple of these (from the first batch); they were fantastic, one of the very best Regional Edition?

They are very nice cigars. Simon Chase did a fantastic job of getting those bands organised, no other PL RE has had them since.

There was a second batch of these released last year in humidors of 50 cigars. I've seen reviews of these that have been less favourable than those for the original. I have no experience of the second release myself.

?27 is maybe a little steep, they were originally ?20. It depends how much you want one. Going from how REs are usually released, it's not likely that there will be any more made (these have already had two releases, I can't think of any that have had a third). You never know though.

Look good but are they another gimmick RE release or a great cigar?

I guess I don't read British all that well.

I could swear that link took me to a UK site that adverted a big, fat, old stuugey for ?27. That's more than forty -- hell, closer to 45 -- bucks in real money! Oh wait... that's for a box of 25, right? Please tell me that's right.

            Please?

only in America Rok ..... well, will be once Mr Obama has made-up his grievances with Mr Fidel an' his boys.

Lookin' at US sites, it seems yours work on a different premise to ours. The aim being to get the prices down on the basis that by doing they're more likely to sell more.

Here it's more keep the prices high and let the punters 'Eat cake'! .... because we blame all of the high cost on Darling (Mr Brown really) anyway!

I haven't tried one of these but does look a nice cigar, it is a bit too pricey though.

It’s a great cigar and a re-creation of the 1970’s Por Larranaga Magnum which is now one of the most sought after vintage cigars in the world ( cabinets of 25 sell for ?6,000)

Is it worth the money? Well it depends on if you have the disposable income to spend. I think the best analogy is that I usually drink 6 quid bottles of wine from Tesco but occasionally I like a ?20 or ?30 or ?40 bottle from my wine merchant that is a little bit more special.

The PL Larranaga is a very delicate balanced and complex blend. Very few were made, they are English Market Selection and the quality and appearance as well as the construction is without fault

                  Just my 0.2

                  Best

How much is a Siglo 6 in the UK ?
The more shortens my cigar, the more I must reach out to the ashtray. A boss also has his worries.
