Looks like the source you originally copied from probably needs updating. Not much info there, and pretty old hat too. There are plenty of other threads on the forum which actually show fakes against the real thing.

"Simple way to tell" should be a clue. The only counterfeits that can be easily spotted are the really bad ones, the ones illustrated on the linked website. I've encountered some beautiful "Cohiba Robustos" and "Montecristo No.3s" that only revealed their true nature upon smoking and subsequent autopsy.

Always buy from a trusted source.
