    Help with La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No. 1

    I'm going for a 25 box of these during this week. Firstly, because I smoked my single over Christmas, and it was excellent. Secondly, because it's one of the La Glorias on Trevor's deletions list, so I might as well get some while the getting is still there and before the price goes up.

    I have an 02 box of No.4s and they are pretty good too. But, I think in the past I've been a 'green' buyer. This time I want to nail the best deal I can. Can anyone with experience of the No.1's recommend a good year.

    I have 02 and 03 and both are great, Kdot had one of mine and was happy with it, I have some spare's of both and will be posting up for trading shortly... if your not in a hurry you could get some other BOTL opinions on these years....

      No tearing hurry. TC's and CofH are within a dollar of each other today, but that will change when TC's Sale ends. Will look out for your swaps option too .... might be tempted there!

        wasnt just happy with them, more like blown away. A great over looked smoke if you can track it down.

          Was what I thought. As a cigar it gets great reviews. Right up there with the LEs and SE's .... but will be delisted .... madness or just the fashion for wider gauge cigars most like.

            I have some 02's that are smoking great as well. LGC MdO NO.1 have a unique flavor all to their own. I'm going to miss them when they are gone.

              get the 02, it was a good year for this brand. I have 40 MdO #1, 23 MdO #2 and 17 MdO #4 from 2002 and they are all GREAT smokes.

                Am trying to. Have sent off e-mails to enquire what boxes are available. For the moment I have two tester cigars each of 01 and 02 LGC MdOr 1's from ACMCC and 1 year unknown No 1 and a No 2 from a bunch of singles I bought last year, plus an as yet un-touched box of 02 No 4's resting in the tup.
