Could be. I don't have a box but smoked one recently. Also looking at the pricing for 30, 7 year old special edition Cohibas I suspect most people don't think they are gonna get better. If you are right and they come up again then a complete bargain!

I've also heard mixed reviews of the Cohiba Seleccion Reservas, both recently and initially. Another consideration is that cigars go through several maturation cycles where they go up and down, perhaps your seleccion reservas are just in one of the down cycles in their maturation and they will come back around later?

This is certainly possible as they go through different types of maturation periods, the first being fairly straight forward fermentation, the later cycles being the conversion of long chain molecular phenols, worth getting a copy of MRN's book if you do not have it, as not all brands/vitolas come back! this book is a must have for anyone thinking of ageing cigars as each cigar has different abilities, all listed in the book.....
