  • Entertaining cigar review videos

During a conversation with Ed Jnr at Davidof he mentioned a group of Australians who review cigars online and post videos on youtube. I forgot the name he menioned but I think I stumbled across them finally today. As they are Australian they have a uniquely "brutal" way of putting things sometimes and this can be enormously entertaining. I thought I would just post a quick link to them so you can choose to watch them at your leisure, or not.

As I say, these guys do not mince words, a little like me. I know some on here find that difficult to stomach, so take this as a health warning on the videos.

I know these guys have links to a cigar retail store in Australia but I suspect it is very unlikely that forum users would have a desire to order from the other side of the world so I hope and suspect that this does not breach any of the forum rules about posting online retailers or whatever.

I have no doubt some booze was involved but after the number of Australians I have worked with I suspect that is just the way they go on.

Yes, I've been watching their reviews for a while and I really enjoy them. Typical Aussie approach; direct and honest! I particularly like 'Smithy'.

They also have a forum but it's not as good as here!!!!!

Haha, I was waiting for you to say that Lascaux. They do not care for the RyJ Churchill which I was only semi-surprised to hear but they give a luke warm review to the Monte Sublime (if I remember correctly) that I was very surprised by. I have to work my way through these in pretty short order.
