You won't regret it, Dale. They are one of my favourite CC. I have been extremely pleased with them. I have yet to have a bad one. They yield typical Partagas flavor with a great almost salty peanut taste IMHO.

Get the cab for sure. I am confident you will like them.

I normally smoke this vitola during the day Dale.I have tried a few different brands and the JL pet corona is still very difficult to beat IMO.

I have previously tried the Partagas and they are certainly one of the better cigars of this size.

Partaga Shorts are one of the best minutos out there in my opinion. The 08's I've tried have been very aproachable. Wich used to not always be the case, as they could be a little rough around the edges when young. I would not hesitate to get a cab.

All good news for me......I ordered a box of Partagas shorts from our sponsor at the weekend. For much the same reasons as a few of you; winter coming and I cannot smoke inside. I enjoy Cohiba Siglo I as a quick quality smoke, but I am now looking forward greatly to trying these.

A really good price from our sponsor as ever.

Now to expose my naivety: a 'cab' is different from a 'box' i.e standard paper covered Partagas box? Is a 'cab' a plain wooden box with a sliding lid? why is one better than the other?
