First ever box of cigars? Assuming that we can discount little cardboard boxes containing five sticks... (Whether it was the box of Wintermans or the box of Cohibas is neither here nor there...)

My first proper box, made of something substantial, that wouldn;t turn into papier-mache at the first sight of a cloud (as my Wintermans did... ) was just a couple of months ago, with the purchase of some La Gloria Cubana Gloriosos REs (bought from Sy). Followed, just a couple of weeks later, by some RyJ Short Churchills. I got the bug (as a couple more boxes are in the pipe-line).

As my parents were collecting from Cuba my first Boxes were Partagas 898 varnished, Cohiba Maduro Secretos, Bolivar Gold Medal, Partagas D4's and a box of Montecristo Sublimes. Greedy but it had to be done.
