Just seen this from H&F. Looks like a winner, lets hope it smokes as well!

Apparently it was originally intended as a 2017 release!

"Measuring 5 3/8? (137mm) x 48 ring gauge, this rare size is also known as a Brit?nicas Extra within the factories of Cuba,
It is a figurado, which means the sides of the cigar are not parallel. But it is not a classic double figurado as it has a round head, rather than a pointed one. The correct term for a cigar this shape is perfecto and there are no other perfectos in any brand made in Cuba today.
The shape survived to the present century because it was adopted by Romeo y Julieta for a cigar named the Celestiales Finos, which ceased production in 2002. The original vitola measured 5⅜ inches (137mm) by 46 ring gauge but the La Gloria Cubana Brit?nicas Extra has had two extra points added to its girth and so exceeds the measurements for a simple Brit?nicas."

Nice looking smoke & I like that format but I won't be trying one, crazy price for such a small cigar, last year's La Renia was better value IMHO & I thought that was pretty outrageous; so only bought 2 cab's.

Not really mean to be funny, I meant I would have bought 4 or 5 boxes if it had been at German ER prices but then again, love your reaction. I see you have got a signature motto, feel free to use itif you so wish. Simwell, doesn't that answer your earlier comment?

It does indeed, and i completely understood where you were coming from it’s an almost poetic way to phrase our addiction though “i thought the price was outrages so I only bought 2 cabs”. It succinctly explains my relationship with cigars better than I could ever put into words.
