i lived in central london, worked in a shop and earned ?15k a year... I was buying singles... admittedly almost every day... but singles. cant tell you the debt I got myself into!
but I still have the humidor I bought in one of the summer sales... that was a snip. had a ding in the lid on the outside, minor cosmetic damage... paid buttons for it courtesy of my good friends!

'In my day' if he was a permanent member of staff, and he had a Harrods card, he would have got 10% off... but that may well have been done away with by the present owners...

The QdO always seem overpriced and a bit unnecessary to me, it’s not different enough to the corona to be worth the premium IMO. It would need spectacular reviews to change my mind.

The 54 was my first love, had a few average ones since but can't seem to shake it. Will always have a special place in my humidor.

Don’t get me wrong I like QdO, the corona is lovely and they have had some cracking regionals recently I specifically mean the new LE is overpriced. They aren’t too dissimilar size to the corona and therefore aren’t worth the premium IMO, I had no intention of buying a box unless they were receiving amazing reviews.

How do the specials compare to the reg production with QdO? I know they?re marketed as a budget smoke but in my experience they?re definitely never a brand I?d buy blind. I went through close to 20 boxes to get a decent box of 50 and 54 and they still seem a bit hit n miss unless that was just a bad batch.

Not sure if the QC on the limiteds has been better?
