Bands

Evening all,

I was doing a bit of rotation in my humidor this evening and came across the below banded sticks and punch punch and a Choix supreme. I bought these last summer from a little gold mine of a find in southern Spain.

any ideas of the year range these bands are from? The boxes the sticks were in were 2013 for the ERDM and 2002 for the Punch but never sure if they are just old boxes with new sticks in.

Punch is old band, these were used till 2009. So 2002 is very possible.

ERdM however, difficult to determine but I would say the old bands. But I guess it might be good to await feedback of more experiended people than me

From the site it looks like the punch is likely a 2001 stick and the Choix Supreme is latest a 2010/11 stick but could be earlier.

Either way i picked up three choix supremme and they will have a minimum of 9/10 years on them and the Punch x 2 with 19 years on so that's not bad going

That sounds about right based on the bands for the ERDM at least no clue on Punch bands, in my experience boxes tend to be if anything newer than the sticks in Spain. The Spanish don't seem to like older sticks in the same way we go for them so there's no reason for them to put newer sticks into an older box.

Was at boisdales ones evening perusing the shelves. My eye went strait to an old Monte 1 band among all the new sticks! So i nabbed it. Philipe was saving it for himself apparently for later [emoji16][emoji3166]

It's ok he had a couple more hidden away.
