Cuban cigar age at stores

What is the typical age that you find on Cuban cigars when buying in stores or will it depend on the country and brand? I am of to Spain in a few days and trying to prepare myself on my search's when I am over there. I mainly smoke Partigas D4 but I believe that they need at least 1 year or two on them. What are my chances of getting these ready to smoke?

Its difficult to say to be honest, its what they have sold quickly and what they haven't

If you contact the shop they be able to give you an idea, and some will have an aged range

You should be able to find stuff boxed a year ago. But it's luck.

Best advice is slowly buy more than you smoke. Before you know it you'll have stuff maturing in your own collection. Quickly buy a load of boxes if your that way inclined [emoji16]

Whenever one of us Coros visits a B&M either near or far, we always ask two questions.

1. Are the puros in the original box (some vendors leave old boxes on the shelves and simply replace the sticks as they are sold)?

2. May I look at the box date? (Not all vendors like customers handling the boxes, so be sure to ask politely before lifting ?em.)

As for the later, this is a bit difficult to do in my beloved mexico because they have warning labels on the bottom and top of the boxes which are impossible to remove without a blow torch shame.
