Pre-revolution cigars

I have just read a post by Corona Cigars of Florida that they've imported $250,000 worth of pre-revolution cigars. Now there's no guarantee they're any good but it does me me wonder where they were hiding

Although it sounds unlikely, I have a friend whole sold his collection a year or so ago. This was housed in a Cuban Warehouse & raised several million$! He couldn't take it all out of the country so it was sold to his contacts on the Island & no doubt they will shift it over a period of time as to not flood the market. Of course US can import sell & smoke Pre- Embargo Havana's (3 yrs later than the Revolution). He used it to pay for treatment for his brain cancer; flitting around the world, receiving the latest & experimental treatments. He is currently in remission so I am sure it was worth every cent.
