Wasn't a big fan until the trying the 2007s over the last year or so - Regios and Serie A are lovely from '07 - seems like they have had a bit of a resurgence recently ? One of the brands on the up IMHO
Having got five of these SLRA from ACCMC, I can honestly say that if anybody wants to sell any more of 'em, I'll have them! I've never enjoyed a first taste of a brand so much!
No man has the right to fix the boundary of a nation.
No man has the right to say to his country, "Thus far shalt thou go and no further."
As I've mentioned elsewhere - one of the best cigars I've ever smoked was a SLR A of some 10 year's age. And a few year's ago Selfridges had a cabinet of Lonsdales with a few year's age that they were selling off cheaply in singles. These were exquisite and drew me in many times over the month or two that they had them on sale - can't think why I din't multi-buy as I was very sad when they eventually sold out.
I must admit I've never been overly impressed with SLR PC's - Montecristo, Por Laranaga, R&J & Punch all roll this size to better effect IMO and I feel simlarly about Regios although I've only had a couple.
I got eleven or twelve SLR PC from Harrod's last week or so, and it's from 2002. Well I thought they would impress me, so I lit up a few, and smoking it so totally fine, but there's just nothing that really impress you, nothing special or a style..
