I keep trying them just to see... so far Lusitanias have been the only one I’ve truly enjoyed when in the right mood, and I am partial to an aristocrat from time to time... still Partagas is the Marca I will once again be gunning for in next years ‘it’s a knockout!’
Only the impossible is worth the effort.

I was looking forward to this cigar and it was very disappointing. It's not as good as the peti edmundo IMHO.

Hmm, interesting, indeed. I find the Petit version of the Edmundo to be quite satisfying. Unlike its bigger bro.

But that’s just me, I suppose...

Names Jay, Ray Jay, and I’ve been smokin’ fine puros since senor serious was a tinny tot.

And .... I enjoy a surprise when it happens.

Today I’ve tried my first RGPC and PL Picodores - both very tasty and the Picodores had almost perfect construction, with a great draw and razor burn.

I will probably buy a box of the PL just on this one experience.

Petite Edmundos as (in my experience) massively variable... the first I had was as plugged as cuould be and gave me a stinking headache trying to get something out of it whilst wandering through Rome one evening... but a split run here delivered me some which were absolute gems... really really tasty enjoyable sticks...

I have to agree...if it's the same split from smokey Joe.... however I haven't had it's big brother.

yup! I was determined to not let a single experience spoil my thoughts on what should be a great stick...

Some cigars need more effort to extract the different tastes, keeping the smoke in mouth longer and passing through the nose slowly will increase your enjoyment.
Is it the horse or the indian...

You hit the nail on the head, I have never from my recollection not enjoyed any Cohiba... Put simply I am Underwhelmed by them due to their premium tag and the high expectations often re-enforced by such vocal devotion by many fans.

Try the siglo IV i find this Carona Gorda to be the best of the line and the most consistent, great stick

Hear, hear, lads. The Cohiba Robusto and Siglo VI used to be frequent guests in the don’s massive unit. Nowadays, it’s hard to justify the costs vs the benefits when there are so many suitable, less expensive alternatives around, such as the Bolivar Royal Corona and the Ramon Allones Specially Selected.

To bad really....’cause I truly enjoyed sticking one in me pie hole as I walked about hacienda SoM with me chest puffed out. (Sad)

Names, Jay, Ray Jay, and I can no longer afford me namesake.
