The PerfecDraw does a fantastic job at opening up tight draws. It is one of those essential tools, which you never think you need, until you first use it. You then wonder how you managed without it.....

that's why i threw the stick in with it to avoid the postage, worked out well to be fair. Those dentist tools look neither use nor ornament don't they ! glad i went for the p.d really surprised it hasn't been copied (china) or someone come up with a comparable at a favorable price. niche market tho i suppose when you consider how many people smoke cigars, and how many of them will want something like this.
The way I see it they are either fake, too wet, not for you or you?re incredibly unlucky.
I?m assuming you trust your source and are keeping them properly so maybe you just prefer NC. Have you enjoyed Cubans without issue in the past or have you always found them too tight?
Personally I like the draw on Cubans, It?s been over a year since I?ve needed to use the PD (I?ve used it more in that time but just for preference rather than being a necessity).
I have just been very unlucky this year, last year was great and the previous years were fine, a few bad ones but nothing to worry about. I only smoke cubans........which are 110% real
I do feel that now i have started to explore NC's a little, you do realise how bad the draws are on the CC's and makes for a more pleasurable experience with an open draw.
Dont get me wrong i have had some great smokes amongst all this, its just the consistency is the issue here.
I prefer to double draw! If there's so little smoke I'm fighting it, is too tight.
Given that CC are draw tested. I guess a majority? I guess this is what they are going for? I've not noticed on the whole of people double or triple draw and if this differs for CC and NC generally. Perhaps it's time for a poll!?
Can you tell I'm smoking at lunchtime and don't have anything more interesting to worry about?...
Sent from the interwebz
wish i could smoke on my lunch break.......your making very sufficient use of your time mate!
I have saved 4 cigars in the last month. It has given my soul some peace as I am no longer binning ?20 plus cigars.
You see its just sad we have to buy a tool in order to enjoy a great smoke........people are saying here that they like the draw of cubans, but yet needing a tool in order to smoke them.........its kinda contradictory

Im gonna get one now but you see if your now relying on it, you cant draw on your cigars with out it

I was at a cigar lounge on Sunday and had a Cuban with a terrible draw. The humidor was at 74% RH so I was not surprised. Did not have the tool with me and the merchant just shrugged his shoulders. Was disappointed. Decided not to smoke the cigar and took it home. The tool would have solved the issue, but I believe 74% is just too high for Cubans.

I don't want to use the tool, but I don't want to struggle with a cigar. I smoke for pleasure. Maybe I am just too fussy, but I do smoke at least two cigars a day, so there will be the odd cigar with a overly heavy draw. When I say I saved 4 cigars this month - those were 4 cigars I cut in the last three months that I put to one side rather than binning them. I sorted them with the tool and smoked them all. Was more of a test of the tool just to see if it actually works.
I can say that it does not feel right to have to use the tool, but its sad to bin a cigar. Or am I missing something. What do the rest of you do with a bad draw? Or is it all a mind of matter issue?

Not really, these are hand rolled products so some variation is to be expected. The draw of your typical Cuban is better for me, a little resistance but not too tight inevitably the odd one will be too tight. Its far better than the NC draw, like sucking on a big straw. Take 100 Cubans, I expect less than 5 would need to use the tool, if every cigar is tight then its far more likely the issue lies elsewhere.

74! Would have been terrible burn and harsh flavours as you puffed it every 10seconds to keep it lit.
See I mainly smoke NC and find the draw tight on Cc's that's why I bought the tool not only to save a plugged stick (Iv had two so far that a had to bin) but I can just bore them out a little so they are a bit 'arier' hopefully I will find I get more smoke and more taste. All personal thoughts isn't it different strokes...or smokes
