Bolivar Corona Gigantes are great - I've had a 2001 (smoked last year) and I think it was probably my favourite ever stick!
I still have a few 2002's left & they are gorgous, the 2007 & 8's are pretty fine too.

So far, every cigar brand I had the pleasure to sample a Churchill and another format, the Churchill was always more tasty. It's by far my favorite format.

I did Churchill vs Double Corona comparisons for Punch and Hoyo where the DC was better, much better, in my opinion. Although I expect there?s huge variation from year to year and probably cigar to cigar!

I had a Hoyo DC and it was just awful. Plugged and very little flavour. Just bland. But that was the only DC I ever had, so can't really judge it.

feels like bad luck... i had a 10 year plus old HdM DC last summer... and it was smooth and creamy and lovely...

had a few over the years and found them to be mild for sure, but not lacking flavour. Plugged just plain sucks.

I am sure there are better ones out there, if they were all like mine, nobody would buy them. Just the usual pain with CCs. Given the amount of bad ones, make the value for money ratio even worse. It's nice to get a good box and I guess it makes for the excitement of hunting down a good box, but I see myself more and more drawn towards NCs. At least with them you know what you get.

is this where box code madness starts?!
