Stevie's right here methinks. Whatever the paranoia whipped up online regarding fakes there is, without doubt, a small amount of variation in band printing (ever seen a box of Bolivars where all the labels looked the same?). The pictures are inconclusive.

A better indication is that they were cought in a hotel shop, very likely to be fakes imo.

I've also got one in my humidor as I got one from a mate who just came back from Habana. Unfortunately, I think it's a fake. He bought 25 from a bar and the Cohiba label is not embossed like my other sticks. Only paid 200$ as well for a box of 25.

    Verryy feeesheee

Cohiba bands have changed many times over the years but rarely from box to box, cigar to cigar. My older cigars have less dots above the name but not always. Why not post a few pics of the seal and box code?

How much did you pay for them? If they are of dubious origin and you cant sell them then send them to us and we will smoke a fake cigar on the 19th Sept to educate our palates

My BOTL, are we going soft...? lol!!!

Seriously, if you are genuine Islita, then apologoies for the sarcastic banter.

However, if I had a pound for everytime a person has said 'just got back from Cuba and I bought some Cohiba Esplendidos (it's always them aswell, why is that!?!) and I don't really smoke or they were a gift and the person doesn't want them and blah! blah! blah!' I'd have ?4 quid...!!!

No really it'd be a lot more...!!!

So, apologies once again if you are the real deal...

    Cheers, HabanoSy

Hi Islita - Simon's right. Maybe you should have introduced yourself first to avoid that unfortunate flaming you got ....poor soul
