All i can see is EF089800, which i think is the code and the Serie A No1....does that mean anything? Where is the date supposed to be?

Just curious..... who did you buy them from? was it the brother of the man whos father has a shop near the factory .....who has a customer who comes in...... who knows a girl whos sister rolls cigars in the factory.... by any chance?

To explain:
The slight note of sarcasm you may have perceived is due to the vast number of fake Cuban cigars in circulation (especially Cohiba Esplendidos) and the number of people who try to use this forum (and others) to make a quick buck.
It doesn't help when you start off with a post implying that you know they are genuine and want to know where to sell them and then quickly change tact.
Now to the cigars authenticity, this can be very simply resolved (as several others have stated) by posting some pictures of the box, date codes on the base, contents inside the box and close up of the cigar bands.
