I see our sponsor is offering 'NEW' (their emphasis!) PLMCs. I know this cigar has been around for a while in OLD (my emphasis, just playing along with the hyperbole) forms. Allowing for the fact that this is the NEW one and not the OLD one, would those familiar with the OLD one (this is getting tedious - Ed.) nonetheless recommend having a try of the (don't do it...) ....new one?

I like the PL montecarlo, although they are really light and sweet so not for everybody. You can pair them with biscuits and tea.

Indeed, new to the UK. I love them as I do all por larranaga. They are long filler and the UK price is just that, a very good value smoke at 9 quid per stick in UK terms, but available far cheaper abroad, in France or Spain a box is less than half of the price you pay here, but that also goes for partagas shorts. Quintero and piedra are more like a third or less of what we pay here. Stock up on your holidays I say!

You wont be sorry. They are a classy stick. Was very lucky to pick up an 05 box a few years back in gibraltar. Only a few left now but they are stunning. They have a bit of a marshmallow character imho. Some of the best cigars around regardless of price in the mild to medium range.
