Bolivar

Then again, all CC's profit from a few years down.

Try to find some aged cigars, maybe 3 to 5 years, to taste the differences between those and some young sticks.

Thank you, gojira, you have been incredibly helpful.

Really appreciating the wealth of knowledge I am finding on this forum!

I have managed to find a 2007 Cohiba Maduro, so think I will give that a try alongside some others!

Oh, I see! That would be fantastic, I don't have any intention of going anywhere, so will hopefully join the upper echelons in time!

I may be in the minority but I don't think any Cohiba is worth the asking price. The price to taste value is way out of whack IMO, a Cohiba doesn't taste 2-3x better than an Edmundo or 4x better than a RASS or a SLR Regios. When I'm going to spend top dollar on a Cigar, better to get some interesting LE's or RE's instead of hype...Better yet (IMO) would be to buy 2 or 3 Boxes of some really solid smokes and let them age...
A Cigar is the only phallic shaped object you can put in your mouth and look even manlier.

Another cigar which smokes well when quite young is the La Gloria Cubana Medal D'or number 4. It's a superb smoke.

True, but I tend to prefer mine with a few more years on them.

I like you'e thinking, chico. You can pack your unit with several lower caliber puros for the price of a single Cohiba VI. Price aside, however, it doesn't get much better than a well-aged CVI. Soon after introduction, the CVI was considered by many (including don TJ) to be one of the finest examples of what a Cuban cigars used to taste like - before the "Great Cigar Boom" of the mid-1990s.

But like many, the extraordinary price of late has prevented me from buying them for several years ....and only a few remain in don TJ's massive unit. (Sad)

Definitely worth a try but you'd be better seeking them out the next time you're abroad on holiday. They should be a good bit cheaper. Try Switzerland for example.

Where is that, muchacho? The first box don TJ bought was about 7K pesos ($400 USD).

Again...WHY DIDN'T HE BUY MORE BOXES?

(Actually, he did...my bad)

Do you happen to know how many sticks you can bring back to the UK frrb?

Geneva looks possible in a day via Eurostar.

No idea into UK, I only know into Switzerland and it's 250 cigars.
Export from Switzerland isn't an issue.
