What is the difference between all these different named cigars from the Partagas house? I have tried quite a few different cigars recently & out of all of them I really liked the Serie D. I could quite easily just buy another box and be done but I am curious to know what the flavor profiles going to be like with the others? are the going to be very similar to the D or completely different

The E2 is an XL version of the D4 and better in my opinion. As is the P2, a pyramid vitola.

I would heartily recommend the E2s!

I have recently become a fan of the D5, it starts out a little peppery for me but soon settles down and the last inch finishes with a warm nutty caramel. This has been true for all three of those I smoked recently so a box is on the way.

The D5s are great but I can't understand how they are about the same price as the D4 when considerably shorter.

My first partagas was a d5 and was lovely....but the D4 is just a great smoke imo.

                I adore all Partagas.
However, out of those listed, my all time favourite has to be the E2.
It's simply divine. Pure Partagas to a T.

I've tried the D4 and just recently the D6. That was an excellent smoke, shorter than the rest but by no means short on flavours and quality.

I think (or rather always assumed) the different series represent different blends - so Series D are versions of one blend, and E another. Series P have all been pyramids as well I believe

Where the cigars have all been produced by different factories I am sure that the original differences between them are less distinct now though...

Really love D4s, E2s, P2s but for some reason couldn't get away with the D6. I generally don't have the time to smoke a big stick so D6s seemed an ideal size. I smoked about 5/6 of them and sold the rest of the box on.

I’ve not tried them either, can’t wait to sample one once they’ve settled.
