  • Esplendidos?

I only have one picture at the moment, but have asked for more.
    What do you think?
    Real?
From that pic alone, I have my suspicions.....

The bands are fake & therefore the cigars are too.To quote Gene DuBielak (from another site so I won't claim I spotted all the signs) "The Taino head is not centered in the silhouette, no holographic Taino head inside the larger one. White dots cut off by the gold band on top. Habana, Cuba text is too light and too small. No holograms on the gold bands, also the gold bands are too thin. Essentially everything".
As someone else mentioned the photo is too poor quality to be able to blow it up to see more detail.

My tip, if you have cause to ask if it's fake, you already have your answer. Esplen's & 1966's are the most faked cigars in the world so unless buying from an LCDH, they are statistically most likely to be fakes. If you want to buy some Esplen's then get a split buy arranged, half a dozen will last quite a while if smoked for birthdays & red letter days & be far more affordable than laying out for a whole gen box.

Knew they were fake, just wanted to start a discussion.

          Well maybe someone will disagree?
