This years second French RE will be the Ramon Allones Hexagone

I just found out that this years second RE for France will be the Ramon Allones Hexagone. There's no release date yet and I couldn't find any pics. It will be a Robusto Extra (Duke): 54x140. This will be one of the 4 2016 RE's by RA. The number of boxes to be manufactured is not yet known.

Sounds very intriguing. I always wished they would make a bigger version of the RASS, using the exact same blend.

Almost identical to the RA XXL from 2016in Belux then.

Well, I'm curious to try one but pricing will be a big factor for me. I think that the price will be rather high since prices went up (again) in France a couple of months ago. I'm not sure if I will want to drop €18 per stick for this release. And I find that the 54+ ring gauges that I purchased don't show up on a regular basis in my rotation, most I have are sleeping. Except for the Mag 56, I've had quite a few of it when it was released. And I'm looking forward to try the new Mag 54 (maybe this weekend).

I don't know. But it's not the same format. The Belux RE is a Geniales (54x150).

Do you mean in terms of size?

I think that might be wrong - there have been endless petit Robusto and petit pyramids over the years (unless it's a new thing)

Let me see if I can find the article. From what i understood was for example last years Saint Luis Rey Edici?n Regional Espa?a is a Petit Roubsto....SLR aren't able to release a similar RE for a few years untill it's out of rotation..something along those lines

Went back to the cigar store today to fetch a couple of boxes to share with my brother and the boys at the lounge during my upcoming vacation in Germany and asked about the Hexagone. The owner said not to expect it before the end of September or early October.
