In November 2015 I was passing through Gatwick and browsing the Duty Free which was generally crap when I spotted this little Hoyo de Monterrey lacquered case containing three cigars. A quick Google search revealed just one seller in the UK and it was ?20 dearer than the airport so I snapped it up. Only later I discovered that this is called an 'estuche' literally case in Spanish.

It was only later when browsing on eBay that I realised there are more of these. I didn't win that one but I tracked down the H Upmann

As you can see they are very well made little cases with a lacquered finish and substantial hinges. I think they may be a little too good at keeping moisture out though. When I saw the damage to the foot of that Hoyo today I got them out to check and they are a little dry despite being kept in the Ikeador so the sticks have been removed to a desktop humidor. I only wanted the cases really so I shall smoke the contents except for the Partagas which I'm selling.
Here for gangstarrr is the Partagas case, you'll notice just how good the lacquer is from the reflection

I have also found a Montecristo Edmundo one which I will buy next.
