  • H&F for Export Stamp

Just a quick question, as you may have read I was in Gibraltar last week and inevitably picked up a few cigars whilst there. The boxes obviously had the H&F Stamp for Export, I was just wondering whether it was possible to use this to establish the age of the cigars through the number on the stamp.

    I couldn't find anything on the H&F website (http://www.cigars.co.uk/ems/)

The only reason is because I picked up a Trini Robusto Extra three pack and was curious of the age beyond at least 2012. The code number on the three pack in 754787

Hi, I think hunters and frankau record seal/stamp numbers but probably have to contact them direct with details/photos....

I believe that the EMS stickers change colour annually, these may work to the same format to determine age?

Unfortunately I think the Export stickers are always the same green and white colour

The H&F export stickers are always green. I've been told before that Hunter's do record the serial numbers. We get the same stamps in Ireland.
I've never tried getting in touch with them to search for a number.
No harm mailing them and asking, probably send them a picture of the cigars/stamp.
The worst that can happen is they say "no".
