The 'mexicant' is TJ Coro who delights in long rambling posts that confuse those not used to them and the occasional castigation of stupid questions. He took a sabbatical.

FWIW... as a relative newbie I found that if you can decipher some sense from his posts, some of them make fascinating reading!! if not, they are simply entertaining!

I know John. When I first joined, I thought there was more than one person using the account.
Then I realised it was just multiple personalities.

Welcome back Catman, has indeed been awhile. I have one or two in the Boli Cave but of course they are still too young for my taste. They do have a following though, guess trying one is the only way to judge whether you want to invest in a box or two. Would agree with Arf' though, that they are nothing like their original namesakes.

                Wise words indeed my friend.
(Also, I appreciate your subtle, but astute use of the word 'if'.. as in "if you can decipher some sense from his posts").
                You'll go far Sir.. Bravo..!

I've got two boxes but yet to smoke one, both of my boxes are the fabled 'wrong band' ones so I'm hesitant to smoke them - but I doubt they'll ever be worth anything.
                Cheers Deano..
Seems I've been out-of-the-loop for quite a while.. what are the 'wrong bands', and do I need to watch out for them?

Cheers Simon (and everyone else), good advice all-round.
I'm in town later this week, so I'll drop by and pick one up.
Truth be told, I haven't purchased any of the more recent releases (nothing new since 2013), are there any other sticks I should be keeping an eye out for (LE's, RE's etc)..?
                Thanks again

                    Mr Griff sums it up

"It seems that the shipment of boxes that were sent to the U.K. were banded wrongly. The Partag?s band should have the words 'Seleccion Privada' printed however they are mysteriously absent. Like a misprint on a coin, these boxes may become more sought after in time."

Thought I had posted my review of one of these little chaps. I shall sort that out this week! I'll have another so I can compare between reviews...[emoji4]
