Cohiba Robustos Supremos EL 2015 - 9 Months

Hey Everyone

Would like to get some feedback from fellow forum members that have smoked this cigar 9 Months since its release.

Ive never been to fussed for EL or RE cigars but the odd vitola comes along from time to time that apeals to me and this perticular vitola is expensive!

is it honestly worth the money? would i be better of with the BHK line? etc i know the easyest way for me to answer my own questions is to buy a single, but im very skeptical about this cigar, ive got a "its to good to be true" type of feeling with this one

would love to heer some honest feedback on this cigar

It's a very good cigar with a ring gauge that you either love or hate but IMO the BHK 52 is a superior stick.

My opinion of BHk isn't a good one, I've had a bad box of BHK which I e had four bad sticks from which is outrageous IMO. I've smoked a few of the supremos now and all been good. Cigars are hand made natural products and are subject to variations in quality but I've found the supremos to be all the same so far, good.

40% bad sticks! That's a crap box for sure. Guess you were unlucky though Tom, most people reckon the 52 is a great stick & better than the 54 & 56. Of course it's also a wee bit cheaper so that certainly helps. Haven't tried the Supremes though & won't be unless Secret Santa is especially generous this year, too expensive & too fat for me.

The Supremos is a great smoke, as Tommy says the consistency is as good as it gets. I can't say I've had a bad BHK but the Cohiba is for me the better stick and definitely more potential. Investment wise if that's your thing and age wise. As you say yourself, buy a single and see for yourself. I'm not convinced at ?40 its tremendous value but if you listen to LD at Sautters he reckons it's a ?100 stick in a few years.

I tried it this summer and it's a great cigar for sure. I like the format, it's a long smoke as well and the flavours are great, though a tad mild I'd say. But the price is IMO not worth it. The Partagas EL 2014 which is more cigar for half the price was nice I think.

If I'm correct from what I can remember, it's the only cigar he's ever given a 10/10 review for as well.

I tried one at the Sautter store in Knightsbridge, it was absolutely fantastic, but very strong and I felt I needed to have had a bigger lunch beforehand to really enjoy it.

Only way to sell boxes I suppose.
myself I buy cigars to enjoy not hopeing they are worth or might be worth money in years to come.
