  • Light weight Cubans...

    Hi all,
Having recommended a friend the ERDM Choix supreme he has now got through 2 boxes and wants to try something else... I had previously mention my own 'morning Cigar' the JL no2 but he doesn't like them.

What should I recommend he try next?
This is far away from my normal smokes so I'm a bit clueless...

For a cheap light smoke I would recommend some of the JLP's, either cazadores or petit cazadores depending on time.
For a bit more money the Hupmann petite corona is a favourite of mine.

Por Larra?aga Panetelas, Romeo y Julieta Mille Fleurs and Vegueros Mananitas are also worth checking out.
      I hope that helps.

Regios are moving towards Full PeeJay. Choix Supreme are lightweights .... something with a bit more oomph (and miles better flavour) would be H. Upmann Connaisseur No 1.
If you want to, you can.

Obviously light and flavourful is some what of an oxymoron, but i know what you mean.

In that case, the Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas have a lot of flavour and with a bit of age are quiet light at the same time. They are big smokes so the first two thirds are pretty subtle but the finally third like any cigar can be quite strong.

OR if he's looking to smoke them all straight away then the Romeo y Julieta Piramides A?ejados might be a good shout.

I always find HDM's to be a bit spicy which takes away from the subtle smoke and hence my enjoyment, I don't know if they are all like that?

Your friend could always buy a box of Bol?var Coronas Gigantes and smoke them in quick succession and then everything would taste light after that! lol.

One more question Guys.... How about in a Churchill size? What is the lightest Churchill? I realise it's a bit of a silly question but he wants to try something that will last longer too!
