Robustos: Bolivar Royal Corona vs. Partagas D4 vs. RASS

The title says it all, I guess. What's your preference, and why?

Also, if there's another Robusto in this price range that you prefer over any one of these, do share.

Had all and enjoyed all, all very different though. The one that stuck with me though is the RASS and the only I'd pick out of the three as well actually. Smooth and complex, lovely!

As for others, id say the Hoyo Epicure 2 [emoji4]

Funny enough, I tried my first Epi 2 just last week, and wasn't too impressed by it. I liked it, but I actually preferred the D4 as well as the Bolivar. Can't comment on the RASS as I haven't tried it yet, and I really don't know when I will, considering one can't buy singles around here, and the RASS seems to only be available in boxes of 25.

I've not had a BRC for about three years, so they're out of the running for me in this thread.

D4s took a bit of a slide around about that time IIRC (well, the ones I had anyway. I don't recall the box years), and I didn't really buy anything other than the odd single. A few tubos recently have been great though.

I really enjoy the RASS and with a few years on them, I think they're hard to beat in my book: rich, strong enough and just have that yum factor for me

I've been really curious about the RASS, seems to get mostly positive reviews as one of the more acclaimed Cuban Robustos. Plus, it's also not as expensive as the D4 or BRC's.

The RASS is probably my favorite. For some reason all Bolivar sticks linger in my mouth for about a week!! Lol now I love cigars but to wake up and taste old cigar is a bit much, even for me.

Havnt smokes the boli but do love d4's when there good there good and havnt had a bad RASS yet. But as a few already said my heart is with the epi2

I'm newly converted to RASS and about to purchase a box. HdM Epi2 have never failed me either and I've just about worked my way through a cabinet from 2012 that my in laws picked up at Gib duty free last summer. That said, I also love the D4, guess I'm a Robusto kind of guy!
