I wouldn't do that if I were you. Aluminium oxides cause alzheimer's disease. Don't mix salts with aluminium that may cause the rapid corrosion or flaking of aluminium salts.

I'm pretty sure that was debunked a while back jezza, hence why you can still buy aluminium pots for cooking. Current thinking is leaning towards genetic coding issues.

You are indeed correct. From the nih:

Evidence surrounding the relationship between aluminium in food and the risk of AD is very minimal. This may be a result of the difficulty in obtaining accurate exposure information in dietary studies. One small case control study found a positive relationship between the consumption of foods containing high levels of aluminium and the risk of developing AD. These results have not been confirmed in a larger investigation.

Un-irregardless of its link towards AD (Alzheimer's), Al2O3 isn't something to consume in any dose. I would highly dissuade people from buying aluminium anything for foodstuff.

I've been trying to instil that word into modern vernacular. It's more of a joke on people who use "irregardless" as a substitute for "regardless". Either that or anti-deun-irregardless.
Also, I've eliminated the word "regarding..." with a doctored sentence that starts with "irregardless".
