OK, just finished my first Trinidad Vigia, and Wow!
A petit robusto coming in a 54 gauge. Felt huge, with a solid pack, slightly veined, a pigtail cap, and tight seams. Construction was A+.
Aroma: grass, earth, slight fresh almost peppermint
Cold draw: grass, honey, sweet leather. Draw was very loose so I would have to be careful not to overcook it.
First light: light, hay, sweet leather, woody. Plenty of smoke but light. Medium body, no strength.
Middle: grassy, creamy leather, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a small amount of spice that lingered into the finish.
End: woody, nuttiness. No harshness.
Burn: awesome. No touch ups or corrections needed, even though I was smoking outdoors.
Burn time: 1 hour
Thoroughly enjoyed this one. The draw was a little loose but nothing bad... I'd rather that than too tight. Stayed medium body, strength stayed negligible. Great stick!
