Sad news, fires can destroy lives even if they don't kill..... That's peoples income to put a roof over their head and food on the table.Licky Licky before Sticky Sticky. - Puff Scotty 22/03/14

My thanks to a brother on another forum who cleared up this story for us with the following and I quote
'That fire happened over a month ago.
Nobody injured, I'm sure there were some losses though.
A couple of things for anyone worried about cigar losses.
The name of the factory "Picadura de Cigarros"
The word "picadura" is used to describe chopped tobacco.
Also I have never seen the word "cigarros" used to describe cigars in Cuba. Spain yes, Cuba no. In Cuba, cigars are always referred to as "tabacos".
The word "cigarros" in Cuba is reserved solely for cigarettes.
So it was a cigarette factory that burned. Cubans smoke far more cigarettes than cigars.'
