Funny how folk have different takes on things though. Different palates for sure.

I've found Por Larranaga Panatellas to have an espresso & almond taste, particularly when you're into the middle third of the cigar

                  +1

                  IMO:
Partagas Short = Espresso/coffee (although with spice)
                  Monty No.4 = coffee bean
ERDM Choix Supreme = toasted caramel
Hoyo No.1 = toasted caramel, nutty
                  Cohiba Robusto = creamy, grassy
                  BHK52 = earthy, creamy

Not every cigar will taste the same for every smoker in my opinion.

                            Good point Tony

thats the decider: buy n try

but 'buy n try' with a general idea is better than with say: no idea

                              And another valid point:

not all of the same cigar can smoke the same either

so in the famous words of TJ, or bag man, or Ray Gay

                              ....."you're on your own Chico"

                              ......

                              .....

....sorry, had two glasses of the red stuff...

                              ......FCUKING EUREKA!!!!!!

                              maybe that's it!
MAYBE TJ is on the red all the time????????

Two glasses my ##se sounds more like half a bottle of the red vino chico.
