I don't like Romeo J Julieta never had a cigar of there's I've enjoyed, although the Petit Churchill was a good smoke with a beer. Yet to try there actual 'Churchill' however
Also found the Petit Edmundo to be one of the worst Cubans either ever smoked also, had a good 10 of them now can't get into them
Hey Stevie, one of the best Cuban's I ever smokes was a HDM Epicure No 1 from a cabinet at JJ Fox, some 15 years old I sat upstairs and smoked it and the aroma was overwhelming, just a stunning cigar.
That might be my problem Nic: all the HdM have only has a few years on them. I find a lot of sweetness in them. Almost overwhelms....
Was looking at a 3 pack of them earlier, was also wandering about the Cuaba.

Well, if they are not plugged and have a few years on 'em they are great. But the majority in the last box of Cuaba's I bought were plugged, most of which were un-smokable. But the ones that were were fantastic! They have a very unique flavor that I dig!

Been very lucky with mine then as nearly finished the box and all good so far. Agree with you on taste through. The first inch and a half when your getting heaps of wrapper is bloody fantastic!

Thanks TJCoro,
As a newbie I'm ensuring I keep an open mind (Guantanamera excluded!) so I thank everyone who gives me tasting notes and hope to be able to give my reviews in future to my smokes (as long as people want to read them!)
There are good and bad in most of the brands. Some of the bad is in the blends but most is in the delivery, the difference between tight and too tight being the main problem. Fonseca aren't particularly nice, Guans are an abysmal advert for Cubans although I don't mind the Compay. The worst brand in my opinion is LFdC, though my vote for the worst cigars in the whole of Cubandom go to the Romeo y Julieta Julieta and H.Upmann Half Coronas .... awful things.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!
