I have to agree with CA, they know what they're talking about after all. Cuban cigars are too expensive, have too much depth of flavour and too many transitions and as for all that maiden thigh sweat, yuck!

Well I have mixed feelings on this. On the one hand, I do like me a Non-Cuban. On the other, any notion that the quality of Cuban cigars is systemically substandard comes from the lips of a crack-smoking moron. So yeah, mixed feelings.

Has anyone else noticed how many more Americans are posting pictures of the Cuban cigars they are smoking on their Facebook pages?

I can't justify this mathematically but i'm seeing many more Cuban sticks appearing since the announcement of the impending "normalisation".

Any chance this may be having an effect on the premium NC manufacturers in the US of A?

Hear, hear, chico master wigans. Not the smartest thing for a yank to do. But the Yanks have more important things to concern themselves about....like show up!

What I meant was, as it's now legal for visitors to Cuba to bring $100 worth of Cuban cigars into the US of A then it's going to be more difficult for the authorities to work out if a Cuban cigar came from Cuba through legitimate channels or through an alternative route.

Ah I see, I see said the blind man to the thief. I didn't realise that had gone through already. Clocks ticking on a Cuba visit!

Ahem...minor clarification, por favor - the $100 limit is for those yanks approved to visit Cuba for very specific reasons; the majority of yanks are prohibited from traveling to Cuba....for now!

In other words, a regular yankee joe can not travel to Cuba, or the UK for that matter, and return to the USA with $100 worth of fine puros - it's still illegal!

Hurumph! Refer to the above comment, young master wigans! It has NOT "gone through already," whatever that means!

Names Perro, el Perro, and somedays I should have stood in bed!

Haha! Hey dawg face...Catalina Joy doesn't allow us to stand on the bed!

I can see Cuban bias in UK and on this forum .
                              Three Laws are:
                              1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
                              2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
                              3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

We have a much higher number of true aficionados on here.

The rest of the world has a Cuban bias in both demand and purchasing percentage.
