As a relative newbie can the assembled masses recommend some decent online reading/videos about the Cuban cigar industry.

Don't care if it's brand specific or general I would just like to know a little more than I do now. Which is buy a Cuban and smoke it .

There's more?! There's a pretty good one on Youtube which is about 40 minutes long so you might want to watch it on the telly, can't remember what its called but it shouldn't be hard to find.

Unfortunately overall I've never found a genuinely fascinating cigar documentary - they're all enjoyable but have never really caught my imagination

There are a couple of good review websites, such as Cigar Review and Halfwheel, Cigar Inspector is also quite good. In terms of video reviews I really like the Friends of Habanos reviews on You Tube

It is - they're one of the few video reviews I actually enjoy, normally I get a bit bored watching people smoke cigars, but I do enjoy those

Was amazed the first time I read the Importance of Being Ernest, couldn't figure out at first if he was taking the piss and if the people at the time knew. (He was and they didn't lol)

But seriously. Everyone knows WHY she is a very popular reviewer. But by material alone, she's okay... Nothing stands out about her.

cigars-reivew.org Very good site and database. It's like CubanCigarWebsite but with reviews! I don't tend to agree with the majority of reviews there... But therein lay the beauty of cigars.
Halfwheel is another GREAT resource. When I discover a cigar post 1998, I always look to halfwheel for a good review.
