Bolivar Super Corona 2014 LE

I was only giving my opinion on what i thought on the bolivar petite belicoso.

How do they differ Jeremy?

For me, the 09s were a touch stronger, woodier, and oddly sweeter - but an annoying sweetness - like that of aspartame. It's very heavily with harshness where there should be complexity...
The 2014 Super Corona actually had hints of nice sucrose sweets... cedary and gentle. Not very strong like other bolivars until the second half.
Need to revisit as it's quite young, still.

But seriously... indeed is just my opinion. But one thing that can barely be denied is that the Bolivar LE 2009s don't taste like your average regular production "Bolivar". Thems along with the Super Coronas from this year (albeit I did enjoy the Super Corona)

Even if they were... They're a good 30-50% more expensive than the Bolivar Belicoso Finos which are larger and much, much better.

I still hate those 09 Petit Belicosos...
But i know so many including the famous CigarSurgeon who I sent one along with another great stick. He smoked and raved about the 2009 Petit Belicoso and never ended up smoking the other cigar without reviewing it, hahahaha.

. The Super Coronas have been great sticks for my liking. No Bolivar twang... Kinda reminds me of a weaker NC, actually. Hope it'll get better in the coming months/year. Nothing like the acidicly mild Bolivar Petit Belicosos... at all!

hard to say... I only have one box of Libertadores from last year. that's just to work on trader bait in the future as I personally don't think they'll be THAT good. But if these are going to be 8-9 USD down in Cuba, I'd be mental not to buy any

I haven't tried one of these yet but may try it at the Christmas herf - I quite like the size but haven't heard much about them

PL is the RE for the UK

The ELs for 2014 are Boli, Cohiba and Partagas.
