  • Anyone tried cuaba distinguidos

I've had cuaba tradicionales and really enjoyed it so I was looking to try some other cuaba cigars. I am looking at the cuaba distinguidos and was wondering what anyone thought of them.

Hi A.G. I have smoked 1 of these. I am, like yourself a fan of the make. I enjoy the smaller Cuaba cigars more than this, the piramde and the salomones. But of course the only answer is - try one and decide for yourself!

I've a real soft spot for the distinguidos. The cuabas have a very distinctive flavour. Love 'em.

Agree in full! Never hear many talking about Cuaba much....

Aspiring Gent - Something I have been doing for a long time now is when purchasing a cigar for the first time, I would typically get two of each vitola. In this way going from cigar to cigar can really change on the palette and whatever mood you may be in. Anyhow, couple cents worth of advice...

          Happy smoking amigo!

If you like the Cuaba flav profile then give it a try, here's some I prepared earlier.

Distinguidos are exactly what their names suggest: Distinctive Guidos.
Very generic oily texture. Love em after 2 years. Have had 2 aged ones that are very good and two right off the shelves. The latter were filthy and fuel for homicidal rage. The former were heavenly.

De Koninck. I miss that... Can't get that over here in our provincial liquor stores

                  I recognise that room!!

Yeah, but you can't smoke in the room any more but the area behind me in the Diamedes pic is where they built the glass house that I am smoking in for the Distinguidos. And as winter fast approaches that's where I'll be smoking my finest Havanas

The place where we played rounds upon rounds of chess, innit?

Speaking of which, I've still yet to meet your wife. What better place for finest Havanas and that than IN Havana!?!
(probably in Belgium due to the lower humidity )

I have to agree with RCH, the Cuaba Divinos is a great little cigar. You can get a box very cheaply and fill a humi drawer with go to smokes. Very good for winter. The only downside is that it's hard to find a box with much age as they're a cheap cigar. They smoke well right out of the box though.

Yes that's where we played chess. And you missed my wife as she gets up at 06:00 to go to work & you crawled out at 11:30+! That was a good mornings fishing gone

Not had much in the way of Cuaba, but I remember thinking great flavour but terrible burn.
