I have looked in past threads and did not see any comments on these. I have a lot of cigar mooching friends that only smoke cigars when we are drinking and when I give cigars to them. My friends know that I have cubans, so of course, that is what they want. I like to think of myself as a generous guy, but I think it is criminal to give higher end cubans to blokes that only smoke cigars when drunk and cannot fully appreciate these fine creations.
So, that's where Jose L. Piedra comes into play. These are cheap enough to give away and yet are still cuban, so my friends will still get excited over them. I also would consider smoking them myself as a yard gar or when distracted with other things, so I was wondering if they are a decent cheap smoke or should I stay away?
I have heard Guantanamera are plain terrible, so I was looking for an alternative. I realize you get what you pay for, but I have found some really decent smokes on the cheap. Thanks for the input guys!
