I'm not saying we need a humidor just for D4S another humidor for just behikes and so on otherwise we would have to get an extension built
just to accomodate the humidors what i'm saying is keep all cuban cigars in the same humidor depending on the size but keep the different brands separated
Would love to have a humidor just for my D4S another for just my bolivar rc etc.

Just leave your cigars in their boxes in the humidor then

I know what you mean, but I still don't have enough partitions for the different brands. The lower part of my humi for instance currently houses sticks from 10 different brands. I doubt it'll be a problem, as I aim to smoke what's in my humi over the next year or two at least.

No point in terms of aroma dispersal but nice to keep everything in neat compartments. Even different cabs of your face cigar at different points of ageing which means labelling isn't needed on each cigar.

I would however stay 100% away from anything that may have artificial flavour etc sharing the same humi.
That collective smell is amazing. Sometimes I open it and it smells like cognac to me. Yeah I think I'll pop everything in vented compartments with an open tray or two for singles and small amounts. My desktop humi smells amazing.

one of the reasons im gonna set up a wineador

buy boxes , put them in ....done ...... when ive empted the box it can go on display in the shed

until it gets full the 2 humis can sit in there as well .

i do like the idea of the cigars staying in there own box with their own kind , i have 2 boxes of partigas in one humi and various loose in the other .

wineador / coolidor might be the answer for you Tony .

I just use bits of cedar from boxes to keep different cigars from touching...no idea what difference it actually makes but it takes little room up n works for me

Nothing wrong with the wineador or even the coolidor but think i rather have a bigger humidor on display
                      maybe i'm too old fashioned

Monkey don't know if you like your whiskye like i do but would you mix one brand of single malt with another next time you decide to have a drink
same mixing cubans together in a humidor without a divider
this is only my opinion don't mean to offend any members by saying this.

Mixing 2 different drinks together is not the same cigars are not liquid if your worried about cigars all tasting the same wait awhile untill you smoke a few boxes and you will notice ones from the same box dont even taste the same sometimes.
