I've just got a box of Partagas P2's and I've never really been bothered by the box date before, this one has Dec 05, they feel and smell great.
Is that a general age they have on the box before being sold or have I been lucky in the fact that it was from a respectable retailer on a small island that maybe doesnt sell much but the stock is sitting there nicely aging for me.

Hog...you were quite lucky!!!. Sure you didn't buy them under the "vintage" seciton?
Names TJ, TJCoro, and I rarely smoke a puro less than a year old...goes againt me principles.
don TJ and the
Coros
speak to the differences between the good years
and the not-so-good years
?
, Senor Hand. Very interesting observation
. I'm gonna' start keeping track of those dates and see if my amigos
have similar results.
!! I sold a box because they were so harsh and rough...dreadful cigars (IMO)
