Bolivar Petit Coronas .... quite a noticable difference.

Yesterday's smoke was a Bolivar PC. An absolute cracker. It was on the deleted 'A' band, so at least 5 years aged .... it also had a round end profile meaning it was Cabinet Seleccion. It was the best Boli PC I've ever tasted, the SLBs are now deleted, but has anyone else noticed a difference between the SLB and dress box versions?

Looking around yesterday the Cabs have all but disappeared. 2012 would be the last available date .... any good?

not sure what this is to mean... if you're asking if Boli PCs from '12 are any good, i'd say they're just standard Bolivar tastes. i would never buy a PC after tasting the No.2s again, though...

unless, like you said, they're the aged ones. would be quite hard pressed to find aged Bolivar PCs here

I always prefer cabs over dress boxes for asthetic & draw issues. Boli PC Cabs come up at auction if your feeling flush Arf, will be harder to find in a store.

It's a possible .... but to be honest Marc, for splits you can get Boli PC much cheaper than €300 for 50. The shame is there aren't that many 50 cab still floating around.

My local tobacconist also happens to be my brother in law so I get an attractive staff discount, he offered me a dress box of these the other day for ?185. Thing is doubt they are going to be pre-2013 production I didn't ask.

I suppose so, doesn't make the habit cheap by any means..What that being said I will be running out of humi space in a few weeks. Would be willing to let go of a few Boli PC's if anyone wants them.
