I really enjoyed the 2005 unbanded one that I had at JJs and recommended it to a new smoker who wanted one for a special occasion. He was on his way there and dropped in at Jayems in Victoria Street where they had a cabinet from 2000 at ?14.95 each. I paid ?18.50 for mine so a double bargain. Mind you they stiffed him ?7.95 for a cheap cutter.

They have then for ?11.49 on C.Gars - although not a box from 2000, but still 2/3 of the price of JJ's, unfortunately cigars in B&M are normally a bit more expensive, but then you do have the joy of exploring the shop!

My friend told me about C.Gars and JJs have them new at the same price but three quid for 15 years of ageing is a fair price I feel.

I went there when I first took up cigars and wasted ?7.95 on a cutter too. DOH!

that's what i originally thought. still think of it this way!

until a mate of mine smoked it and came back to buy 10... i called him crazy, but hell, if he enjoyed them that much, there have to be others out there who would absolutely love them much more than me

While I do enjoy the guy on the front of the box (translates to King of the World in English I think) I have no desire to ever buy another box. Worst purchase I ever made. Gave most of them away.

I rarely smoke robustos but I finished off a box of Choix Supreme this year, it was a box from 2009 I think.

In my opinion they're a great cigars, easy going yet filled with smooth flavours. I found them to be an enjoyable smoke from 2010 until the beginning of 2014 (I really don't smoke many robustos!).

For me they go great with a Speyside Scotch, maybe because they have similar profile to Scotch from that area?

I love the the ERDM CS but as u say they need age most stock I buy buy box and always try to get stuff that has had at least 3 years but normally min 5
Someone picked me up a box of the. RYJ Exb no 4 from 07 in Dubai and the Hoyo PR were from oct 11 so some age on them

maybe i'm the exception here........ i bought a box only a few months ago, i've only 6 left!! i totally loved them....... an easy going morning coffee smoke!!

I like them but wouldn't buy a box from 2000..an atrocious year for all ERDM...
