Shepassa is looking at a reseller out of that RE region so will be a lot more than the UAE duty free. If it's the one I am thinking of that part of a LCDH they have a lot of stuff that's quite expensive for what it is.

Not quite - the Oryx have a slightly thicker ring gauge and are nearly half an inch longer, so although they may be similar (I have no idea as I have never smoke one), they must use a different blend of some sort to make up for the extra size. I also find REs are often different to what you normally get with a brand

But whatever you decide to go with Marc I'm sure you'll enjoy them!

Edit - I also knew that they would be marked up - but I didn't realise double the price!

I found out something quite disturbing today, I have a friend who travels to Switzerland a couple times a year and I was talking to him about these cigars I was looking to get from the UAE...... Turns out he priced up a few boxes from where he goes and on average the saving would be around ?50 per box over the UAE price.

Can this be right? If so I think I'm going to have to re-assess where I'm spending my money.

interesting I don't know about the LE and RE but the standard ones were not cheaper the last time I was there, this was over a year ago though.

Need to tell us the prices UAE have quoted you. Other wise anyone's response I just a guess

That's what he said..... Looks like I'm holding onto my money until he goes later in the year.

On that note I better get a quote on some standard production sticks from them to see what the saving is like on them.
