Yupp.... it's a lazy dog dangling afternoon
    tumblr_l3np0faO9P1qc073co1_400.gif
well. for you mates it's the evening

but i was hoping to start a little debate about the BHK classes and which ones are better. just got off a conversation with smoken_e about the BHKs and some people enjoy 56s some enjoy 54s and most i know just swear by the smaller 52s... strange concept to me really.
but after all, who am i to saw anything? i haven't even had a BHK yet. everything else just came in the way when i needed to. at this point, i'm pretty damn jaded and am probably not gonna buy one anymore. but enough about me. what about you? which BHK do you swear by? ever age them either?

i guess the Maduro 5s are pretty much the same though... i mean what the hell is the difference between genios and magicos? i figured not much so i've never really spent any on magicos. just go secretos when you want that (those i love) genios just seemed the smarter buy for me. on that note, i also have the same blended genios but 1.5 inches longer. custom rolled from el laguito. I'll take pictures on day of it
But yes: Magicos or Genios? BHK 52 or 53 or 56?

when i win the lottery, i'll show you but i think i still wouldn't buy too many of em either.....probably just get 2-4 boxes of reservas every year and just suckle on those

speaking of reservas, those boxes are even prettier!! very surprising how most of em are made in china eh?

I wouldn't say I can detect a difference in flavours for me it's the size
the 52 is too small for such a grand cigar.
the 56 I found to get a little peppery towards the end, to abandon a cigar of this class seems a waste.
the 54 I find just right large enough to appreciate the cigar and can be nubbed !!!

hmmmmmmm..... i know many people know it's a good cigar by the final third. and if it's shite..... well it's not a good cigar then!
maybe the bhk 52 is just lacking a final third (for lack of a better explanation). maybe one day we can tape two 52s together

I've had a couple of 52s and a couple of 54s (I daren't touch the couple of 56s I have in my humidor... they're for a very special occasion - as I'll be damned if I'll pay that much for a cigar!)

I'm with cigarmo, the 54 just edges it for me too. Agree that it's a difficult one to put into words, it just feels a little more complete - which is quite a feat considering I feel that the 52 is also one of the finest cigars I have ever smoked (as you'd bloody well hope for the price). I'm not normally one for massive cigars (and definitely not huge ring gauges... horrible American affectation in my book), but these are just so moreish that the extra time on the 54 is to be cherished.

With you on the Secretos - cracking little smoke (so good I've never seen the need to move up to the Magicos or Genios).
