I agree with alex monty 4 are lovely smokes and you can get a box of 10 for ?100 which makes them a good contender. Maybe this is just my newbie palate but i found them to have similar flavour profile as the no. 2

I love the montecristo range. I'm especially fond of the no. 5 and 1, the 2 is good as well. I keep meaning to try the especial no.1 as the especial no.2 I had was lovely. Must get one next summer!

I've had a couple of petit tubos that were top notch and a joyitas or two that were very nice. Have never tried an open, put off by the poor reviews but have heard it said that with age they are good.

I agree the No. 2 is a great cigar, my favourite smoke so far (along with the RASS)

I also liked the PE and No. 3, I'm not a particularly big fan of the No. 4 though, I think its okay, just not great (although that didn't stop me picking up a box at Hamburg airport a couple of weeks ago!)

I have the Petit No. 2 in my humi ready for a whirl! 😊

I haven't had the chance to try the petit no2 yet but for the sake of 2 quid I think I would have the regular one for an Xmas smoke. Saying that though the petit Edmundo is much better than the regular one IMHO

tell me about it, i'm halfway through my second box this year!! i totally agree with you about the petite no.2, for an extra ?2 i could get a regular sized one!!

excellent monkey....... how does it compare to the regular no2? is it similar as with edmundo & petite edmundo, where somehow the petite edmundo is much better than it's big brother?

also, i'd get the fundadores. they're trinidad AND probably the best regular production trinidad. that will beat any regular production montecristo in my books.

Different smoke, still very young but full of Monte character, slightly dry on the pallet. A good No2 is a fantastic smoke ...finding a good one is much harder.

Tried the double edmundo last week and it just wasn't anything special I'm afraid would have rather just had an edmundo.

A.F. Opus X are superb smokes! had a No.2 on Friday! Also had a Casa Fuente double robusto!
