  • H.Upmann Belvederes?

Are these any good? I see they go for quite cheap and could be a nice space filler while building up contents in the humi.

research shows they were machine made and discontinued, but I can't see if they were nice or not!

Not sure about them but, for a cheap machine made to fill a bit of space the Jose L Piedra seems to be a good candidate.

Looking for a space filler? I've got a few RYJ petit julietas coming in. Matched with some other puritos. These are quick smokes that I can just toss to mates too. Great for winter. Great for red pilling.

My mate just got 8 boxes of bolivar chicos and a few of these too. Seems like the old discont. purito sized sticks have a giant flock towards em. The shame is when they are hard to find. But methinks in the end, that's a reason they taste "better"
Kinda like the dante edmundos or ERDM Baltic Regionals.

These are ?125 for a 25 box, and at a 38ring gauge they're not too much smaller than your average petit, so figured they could be worth a try, plus good to pass out over the Xmas period!

I'm more partial to the H Upmann Epicure. Hunt around for one and get it if you strike lucky

I wouldn't buy a box of cigars just to fill a space: if you don't like them you'll be stuck with 24 cigars you'll never want to smoke, I would save up a bit more and buy something that you know you like

That is logical sense I suppose.... Better to not waste money, just wasn't sure if there would be a general opinion of them, as it would get some in bulk, which are good for passing out to friends over Xmas.

They have upmanns and RyJ belvederes.

I think buying boxes marks your transition from newbie to aficionado. As a newbie there are so many I want to try I don't want to fill my humidor up with boxes full.

                  eeeeh, not so fast PJ!
first thing i did was start out with a box of RYJ #2s. For a good $200 with aluminium tubes, i thought it was for a bargain!! even brought it to a B&M in order to verify the validity. funny jeremy
and sides, i still consider myself a newbie of sorts.... despite having boxes of cigars rain down on me when i open my closet

I can't afford boxes even if I wanted to. Ha!

Oddly enough I have bought one box and that was also RyJ #2 tubos, ?55 in Majorca. I have also bought a bundle of Quorum Robustos but its not the same without the box, no magic.

I wish! It was a box of ten.

OK. Although the Bolivar and Ramon Allones Belvederes are the ones to find. Kind of you to pass around cigars at Xmas, though most will be stubbed and wasted by people who won't really appreciate them. But if you want to make a 'Chrissy' gesture I recommend try finding 2 boxes of Partagas Chico, (Shouldn't cost more than ?44 for 2 boxes, I could point you but it's not allowed,) they are terrific little Winter smokes, puritos sized. Keep a box for yourself and use the other for give-aways.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

Hmm might have to look for some of those then. Just wasn't sure if the upmanns or RyJ would be decent, as I personally don't like to smoke anything too small, feels too much like a cigarette! Plus these ones in particular are from the late 80s! Haha
