  • aged cigars?

People will know i'm new around here, or if you don't know, its because i'm that new, you haven't noticed i'm even here! I'm new to cigars(and smoking in general), but jumping in with trying new things, have already filled my tiny humidor, and will soon be getting a larger one to fill up.

Anyway...... ive been trying various petite coronas and similar in probably ?10-15 range, and a few a little more expensive have been purchased to let age a little. I wanted to try something a little fancier for my xmas day and new years eve smokes, and picked up a Cohiba Esplendidos and a H.upmann 2012 Robusto for those days, but have been thinking that everything ive tried so far has come straight to me and in my mouth within a short period of time, and i'd quite like to try an aged cigar, see what all the fuss is about and see how well i can notice the changes.

I'm not sure if this belongs in the sale thread, but does anyone have any recommendations for places i could pick up a couple of aged cigars for my holiday smokes? and recommendations on what to get?

    thankyou in advance

Diplomatico number 1? I am sure there are a few out there that have been discontinued and thus may have some age on them, but I know of the dippy 1 for around 11-12 quid a stick which iirc was discontinued around 2006 so that gives it 7 years straight away... mine last 2 hrs a smoke if you aren't going at them.

2hrs for a Dippy No 1? Didn't know you had such patience or such a gentle draw mate? Guess that certianly makes them even better value. Underated stick IMHO.

I smoke pretty slow too actually, as nicotine tends to hit me pretty easily.

LOL! A month or two ago I would have wondered the same question Mark but I believe 'My Smoking Shop' is a UK internet shop?
