With that much age, i don't see why not.
Unless you don't like some old Montecristos (which i'm meh to.. they just taste too similar to fresh Montecristos and i know a few people who reciprocate these feelings), i see these as a decent buy for 1 or 3.
It's a shame too because the Montecristo Sublimes is just as good as a Montecristo Edmundo with 3~ years of age for me. The flavours are more intricate.. but i enjoy it as much as the Motne Edmundo with age. which is kinda a shame.....Originally posted by ValeTudoGuyMarc's a Fat Molly

They get bad reviews but from what I remember they have recently been smoked and an improvement was noted. Youtube channel, possible ayeayereviews on youtube iirc, but one (or both) of the guys are members on here:
Maybe not as recently as i imagined.
Anyway, gotta be worth a single for a dabble

My opinion .... for what it's worth.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

Never smoked one myself, but I know they have had overall negative reviews. The only positive review I have seen "in the flesh" is one from AyeAyeReviews from last year, where they were pleasantly surprised that the Cigar had finally "come round".
There's a reason why the Monty D's are still for sale :-)

I had a box but sold them on a few years ago. However the magic of cigars is that they can come round but they never did it for me.Originally posted by Simon BolivarLittle medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these

Thanks for all the replies guys, they certainly don't seem to have received the most favourable reviews in the past, maybe ill spend my money on something a little more reliable."The best cigar you'll ever smoke is the one you're smoking at the minute" - Zino Davidoff

What are your alternatives? I smoked aMontecristo D Limited Edition Maduro once. It was a very good cigar. It makes my top 10 list of best tasting cigars to date, but I am notsure I would spend ?22 for one. The one I had was a gift for work Idid for a client. It made a great gift. It is the most expensivecigar in my top ten list.
From my perspective, I could buy two orthree very good cigars for the same ?22 and would enjoy smokingthree times. If you are doing it just for the great experience ofsmoking a superb cigar one time, then it is probably worth it.
